English Language Courses Delivered via E-learning
Students participating in English language courses via e-learning are required to log in to the platform at www.enauka.ujd.edu.pl using their USOS credentials.
Important: Students cannot be added to an e-course group by the instructor until they have logged in for the first time to the enauka.ujd.edu.pl panel.
E-learning Step-by-Step:
Step 1: The student logs in to www.enauka.ujd.edu.pl using USOS login details.
Step 2: The instructor adds the student to the designated e-course group.
Step 3: The student starts online learning.
If the course is not visible under the "My Courses" tab despite a successful login, it means you have not yet been added to the group by your instructor.
Required Course Materials
Participants of the e-learning English course are required to purchase the following coursebook: English File Upper-Intermediate 4th edition (Multipack A: Student's Book A and Workbook A) by Christina Latham-Koenig and Clive Oxenden, Oxford University Press. All exercises on the platform refer directly to specific pages in this textbook.
Course Structure and Requirements
The English language course consists of 120 teaching hours (30 hours per semester over 4 semesters). The course concludes with a mandatory written examination in a traditional (paper-based) format, covering lexical and grammatical material from both the platform and the coursebook.
Assessment Criteria: Final semester grades are awarded based on:
Online Tasks: Completion of activities on the platform (including the mandatory Speaking Task).
In-class Tests: Written tests conducted during on-site sessions.
ESP Material: Completion of ESP (English for Specific Purposes) content
On-site sessions are held according to the schedule provided in the USOS system and under the "Rules of Participation, Organization, and Schedule" tab on the e-course page. In-class tests cover material from the textbook and the e-course (excluding "Multimedia activity" tasks).
Platform Guidelines
Exercises on the platform can be completed in stages. You may pause your progress at any time.
Technical Note: Always click the "Finish" icon to save progress. Clicking "Submit" concludes your current attempt.
Grading: The final score for an exercise is the average of all attempts.
To receive credit for the semester, tasks in the e-course must be completed with a minimum score of 50% before the final scheduled class. New lexical and grammatical material is assigned weekly based on the coursebook.
We encourage regular engagement and active participation in the discussion forum – a space for knowledge exchange, consultations, and peer support. The e-course is accessible 24/7.
