EnglishScore Mobile Placement Test

We encourage all students learning English to assess their language proficiency using a modern testing tool developed by the British Council, a globally recognized leader in international education.

The EnglishScore test is free of charge. You can take up to 10 practice tests per month completely free. After each attempt, you will receive your score, indicating your language proficiency level on a scale from A2 to C1 (ranging from 0 to 600 points). The test takes approximately 30–40 minutes, depending on your individual pace. Once you achieve your best score, you can choose to purchase an official certificate for $19 USD (or the equivalent in your chosen app currency) paid directly to the British Council.

To be eligible to purchase a certificate for your score, you must enable your smartphone’s front-facing camera during the test. This allows your test session to be monitored and verified by an advanced AI proctoring system. Only monitored test attempts qualify for certificate purchase upon completion.

If you are satisfied with your result and wish to purchase the certificate, simply enter the discount Connect Code: PL-JDU23 during the checkout process after passing the test.

The EnglishScore test is available in three different formats: Core Skills Test, Speaking Test, and Writing Test. Each component can be taken separately; however, please note that if you wish to obtain certificates for all three sections, the standard fee (as mentioned above) applies to each certificate individually.

The Core Skills component assesses vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening comprehension, making it the most popular choice among candidates.

Please note: The EnglishScore Certificate does not exempt students from the final English examination at the end of the two-year university language course.
